W.I.N.G.S. (PBIS)

Jeffrey Trail Middle School W.I.N.G.S is a school-wide commitment to positive behavior support. It enhances the capacity of schools, families, and communities to design effective environments that improve the academic and behavioral outcomes for all students.

How does it work?

DEFINE: School-wide expected behaviors are clearly defined

TEACH: Expected behaviors are intentionally taught in all settings at school

RECOGNIZE: Students are purposefully reinforced for demonstrating positive school-wide expected behavior with JTMS W.I.N.G.S.

MONITOR: Student behavior data is used to plan school-wide and individual interventions

Student Recognition

Weekly Advisement Drawing
Every Wednesday JTMS W.I.N.G.S. cards are randomly chosen from the turn-in envelope. These students are rewarded with a variety of school-related prizes

Friday Drawing
Each week 7 lucky individuals will be selected for community supported prizes

Trimester Rewards
During each trimester all students who earn a specific number of tickets will be invited to participate in special W.I.N.G.S. events!
