The Irvine Family Resource Center provides individualized services designed to meet the needs of our IUSD students and community. The IFRC is offering a variety of Parent Enrichment Workshops during the month of May. In addition, the Irvine Family Resource Center is now accepting new referrals for short term mental health services, case management and to assist with resource linkage. Upcoming Districtwide Zoom Presentation: Gaming, Social Media and Mental Wellness 4/21/21 (6-7:30pm)

The World Health Organization recently recognized “gaming disorder” as a diagnosable condition. Excessive gaming and focus on social media can cause psychological effects such as irritability, depression, isolation and anxiety. Explore the impact technology has on adolescent behavior and brain development at this educational discussion presented by Hoag ASPIRE Intensive Outpatient Program.
